Jay Baker
Biography
Jay Wayne Baker (born April 12, 1961, in Sweetwater, Tennessee, USA) is an American actor, producer, and television host. He began his professional career as a musical stage performer at the age of seventeen and spent two decades working in movies and television primarily based in Los Angeles. In 2001, Jay moved back to Tennessee, focusing more on hosting and producing DIY-themed television programs.
Baker is known for roles in films such as April Fool's Day (1986), Shag (1989), and Naked Lies (1998), as well as guest appearances on TV shows like The Dukes of Hazzard, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (he played Stevens in the episode "Starship Down"), Baywatch, and Savannah. He has also hosted numerous home improvement shows, including Floors, Doors & Windows and Build an Outdoor Kitchen.
In addition to acting and hosting, Jay Baker has produced several TV series related to home improvement and renovation. He lives in Tennessee with his family and continues to be involved in television production and hosting.
