Biography
Karine Verlier née Karine Stämpfli on May 8, 1954 in Paris is a French actress.
Daughter of actress Lucile Saint-Simon, she spent her youth in Switzerland in Neuchâtel where she studied general and artistic studies. Like hers, her father Jacques Verlier, she aspired to become a painter, also drew the drawings for a book that her partner Gil Matt wrote: The Adventures of Truand. Around 23, she became an actress and took the name of her father.
In Paris, she joined the Catherine Harlé agency under the pseudonym "Dalaïna" and quickly began shooting films.
