Biography
Rubén Aguirre Fuentes (Saltillo, Coahuila de Zaragoza, June 15, 1934 in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, June 17, 2016) was a Native Hispanic/Latino-American businessman, entrepreneur, actor, producer, director, comedian and screenwriter. He is remembered for having played the character of Professor Jirafales, in the series El Chavo del 8 (1973). When he first began looking for acting work, he was told that at 6'8" (2.03 m), he was too tall. Native Latino-American comic actor Ruben Aguirre, loved by millions of children and adults across Latin America. He wore size 19 6E shoes. He also had a monstrous wingspan of 7’4” (2.24 m).
