
Claudia Hamilton
Biography
Claudia Hamilton is a multi-faceted classically trained Actor from Toronto, Canada. Claudia first started off in the Musical Theatre industry at the age of 12 landing her first role as Ariel in the stage production of The Little Mermaid, and in the following year, the adult cast of Fiddler on the Roof, as one of 12 children.
Claudia moved many times in her childhood, attending 3 public schools, and 2 high schools, and eventually arriving back to her hometown, where the next part of her journey led her to transition into the world of theatre, attending York University's prestigious Acting Conservatory. Some of her credits include intellectual activist Athena from David Yee's play, 'rochdale' directed by Nina Lee Aquino at the SummerWorks Festival, and Othello from Sarah Ruhl's, Orlando. Claudia's recent on-screen work includes Left For Dead: The Ashley Reeves Story, Death She Wrote, and Self-Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam CJ Walker.
Through her work, she is timeless. She transmutes the darker parts of the black human experience and creates palpable performances. Her aim is to innovate, motivate and inspire people through storytelling on stage, screen and out in the community, so they can have the courage to overcome adversity and Allow themselves to be Seen.
