Elçin Afacan
Biography
Born in Istanbul in 1991, Elçin Afacan graduated from the Theater Department of the Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory after completing her education at Adı Güzel Fine Arts High School. She made her first appearance in the 2015 series "Gamsız Hayat" (Gaamsız Hayat), followed by a role in the 2016 program "Görevimiz Komedi" (Our Mission Comedy) and, that same year, her breakthrough in the series "İçerde." Most recently, she shared the lead roles in the 2019 series "Bir Aile Hikayesi" (A Family Story) alongside Songül Öden, Birkan Sokullu, Celil Nalçakan, and Olgun Toker. Continuing her theater career, Afacan has appeared in the plays Dolores Claiborne, Mr. Kolpert, The Woman from the Past, The Balcony, A Midsummer Night's Dream, İsmene, Übü Hep Übü, and Blu. Elçin Afacan will portray Melek in the series "Sen Çal Kapımı."
