Lajos Dobák
Biography
Lajos Dobák ( Budapest , July 25 , 1928 – Budapest , April 19, 2006 ) was a Hungarian actor who won the Jászai Mari Award and the Aase Award .
He was expelled from the Academy of Theatre Arts in 1949. His acting career began in 1954 at the Hungarian People's Army Theatre . From 1957 he was contracted by the Katona József Theatre in Kecskemét , from 1961 by the Pécs National Theatre , and from 1965 by the Petőfi Theatre in Veszprém . From 1982 he was an artist at the Radnóti Theatre . From 1986 until his retirement (until 1988), he played at the Szigliget Theatre in Szolnok . From 1990 he also appeared in performances at the Szekszárd German Theatre and from 1999 at the Petőfi Theatre in Sopron . His art was awarded several prizes.
