Woodlene Alexis
Biography
Woodlene originally moved to New York City to pursue a career as an elementary school teacher through the New York City Teaching Fellows Master's Program. As anything can happen in the Big Apple, and she found herself occasionally attending casting sessions thus beginning a journey in entertainment as a New York City model. She is featured in major national and international print and commercial campaigns such as Coca Cola, Disney, Amazon, IBM, Starbucks, and Remy Martin to name a few. She's collaborated with Jay Manuel of America's Top Model for Jay Manuel Beauty Cosmetics, as well as modeling for various fashion editorials.
On a quest to expand her talent to television, film, and voice over acting, she began studying under renowned acting teacher, Anthony Abeson. She studies with Ted Sluberski and has improv experience from Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater.
Today, Woodlene can be seen as a guest or recurring on network and streaming TV shows such as The Bite, Elementary, and The Good Fight. Woodlene is a lead in the pilot, Divorce School, which won Best TV Series at the Los Angeles Film Awards, Best Web Series at the New York Film Awards, and Best Pilot at the Garden State Festival.
