He is best known for his record-breaking nine victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, earning him the title "Mr. Le Mans." Kristensen's first Le Mans win came in 1997 with Porsche, and he went on to achieve his historic record primarily with Audi, including an impressive streak of six consecutive wins from 2000 to 2005.
