
Baharak Salehniya
Biography
Baharak Salehniya is an Iranian actor who was born in 1985. She began studying film directing at Arak University in 2004 but dropped out due to a lack of opportunities for experimental works. She started acting in 2005, training with the late legendary performance maestro Hamid Samandarian and taking acting classes for film and television with Mehdi Fakhimzade. In 2006, she made her debut in Fakhimzade's TV series Scream Noiselessly (aka Bi Seda Faryad Kon), and she has since appeared in numerous feature films, TV series, and plays. She performed for renowned Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi on his masterpiece Mohammad: The Messenger of God in 2015.
