Biography
Jerome Dempsey was born on March 1, 1929 in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA. He was an actor, known for Network (1976), The Hudsucker Proxy (1994) and Brewster's Millions (1985). He died on August 27, 1998 in New York City, New York, USA. Jerome was American character actor, first on stage in his home town of Toledo. Joined the Actor's Studio in New York during the 1960's. Prolific theatrical work, as member of the Lincoln Center Theatre Company and with the Yale Repertory Theatre. Winner of a Drama Desk Award for his performance as Van Helsing in a 1977 production of "Dracula".
