Biography
LJ Ugarte is an American actor, singer, songwriter, and multi-award-winning filmmaker, born January 6th, 1981, in Brooklyn, New York. Captivated by the arts from an early age, LJ began singing and taking dance and acting classes at the age of five. Over the years, his skills and talents developed further, fueled by his study of ballet. During his tenure with the Ballet Hispanico Dance Company, he refined his craft, mastering the arts and relishing every moment. He welcomed every opportunity to diversify and expand his passion for the arts within the entertainment industry. This period marked a wonderful chapter in LJ's life. Following his family's relocation to West Palm Beach, Florida, LJ attended Palm Beach Lakes High School in 1997, where he intensely pursued acting studies. Employing Sanford Meisner's master technique, he excelled as an actor on both stage and screen. Additionally, he continued his dance studies, culminating in a performance with the Florida Stage company in the production "Gunplay" during his senior year. LJ later attended Keiser College, focusing on computer graphic design and imaging. Between college and the inception of his music career as a vocalist and songwriter, he worked tirelessly. Following college, LJ concentrated on honing his performance skills, showcasing his talents professionally at various venues alongside other artists in nightclubs across the United States. Furthermore, he is the founder of Firecreek Entertainment LLC in West Palm Beach, continually producing independent films
