
Aaron Toney
Biography
Aaron Toney is an American stunt performer and fight choreographer. He is perhaps best known for his involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including roles doubling for Anthony Mackie’s Falcon in Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018), as well as doubling Chadwick Boseman in Captain America: Civil War (2026), Black Panther (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
He studied at Los Angeles Valley College. Toney is also involved with moving arts beyond film, including martial arts, acrobatics, and movement training.
Among his recent recognition are nominations and wins through Stunt and Ensemble Awards: for example, his work on Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One (2023) won Actor Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture at the Screen Actors Guild Awards; Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) earned a nomination; and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021) got him a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Stunt Performance.
