Matthew "Matty" Healy (born in London, England on April 8, 1989) is an English musician. He is the lead singer and songwriter for the pop rock band The 1975, and is well-known for both his lyricism and his performance art. The 1975 was formed in 2002, and has released a total of 5 records, each with their own distinctive sound.
