Lyle Skosey
Biography
Lyle Skosey is an American actor, producer and talent agent raised on the Southside of Chicago. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Religion and Film Theory from New York University. He moved to Malaysia after finding a buyer for his first television show, a multi-lingual sketch comedy show titled Don’t Laugh. Cameo appearances on Don’t Laugh led to an acting career in Malaysia. From 1991 to 2000, he also wrote The Breakfast Club column for the Malay magazine Men’s Review. Upon returning to the United States, he continued to work as an actor and creator. In 2008, he appeared as a producer on the Fox Reality Channel’s reality competition Give Me My Reality Show. In 2009, he worked on the anthropological comedy series Don’t Bomb Kuala Lumpur for for the Sundance Channel. In 2011, he produced the documentary The Truth Is Out There by director Phil Leirness. In 2013, he joined the Bobby Ball Talent Agency (BBA) as a Theatrical Agent. He is married to Louise Tornehave, daughter of Swedish singer Carli Tornehave.
