Biography
Ellie Goulding is an English singer-songwriter, philanthropist and author. She is known for her high piercing vibrato, breathy tone and emotive delivery vocals.
Goulding's music contributions on cinema has been highlighted by both music and film critics. Her best-known cinematic collaborations includes the original songs: "Love Me Like You Do" for Fifty Shades of Grey, "Bittersweet" for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, "Mirror" for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, "Still Falling for You" for Bridget Jones's Baby, "Do You Remember" for Fighting with My Family; "How Long Will I Love You" for About Time, and the Divergent soundtrack, including "Beating Heart". During the 2010s, Goulding music was heavily featured on movies, such as: The Killing of a Sacred Deer, Spring Breakers, Kick-Ass, The Host, Now Is Good, Teen Spirit, and Cinderella. She is the recipient of numerous accolades, including two Brit Awards, a Brit Billion Award, a Billboard Music Award, 17 BMI London Awards, a Cannes Lions Award, and nominations for two Grammy Awards. She received a honorary 'Doctor of Arts degree' by the University of Kent for her contribution and impact in music, and was honored with a Decade Award by the Variety Hitmakers Awards in recognition of a decade of "undeniable hits". Meanwhile TIME100 honored her with the Impact Award for using her platform to protect the environment.
